Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure compliance with internal and customer specifications at Oldcastle APG.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, adjust, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments as required to maintain quality standards.
  • Inspect and measure products based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), blueprints, and packaging to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Validate quality processes by confirming product specifications and attributes, measuring production, documenting evidence, and ensuring operational and performance qualification using Statistical Process Control (SPC) and trend charts.
  • Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, including failed processes and stability studies.
  • Communicate quality issues to the Lead Technician and production operators, and ensure accurate product labeling and inspection at specified production stages.
  • Verify completion of quality documentation by operators and stay current with quality trends and developments.
  • Provide testing samples to the laboratory when the Lead is unavailable.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in quality and/or laboratory roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments like calipers and tape measures.
  • Excellent math, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and ability to learn new software.
