About the Role:

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating high-quality pastries, pies, cakes, and muffins using honest, whole ingredients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, pies, cakes, and muffins to meet customer demand.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of pastry recipes, ingredients, and presentation techniques.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the bakery team to ensure seamless production and delivery of products.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a pastry kitchen, with a focus on quality and presentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and respectfully.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more, stand for long periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
