Memory Care Director

At StoryPoint, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Director of Connection Points to lead our Memory Care initiatives. This role is a critical part of our team, responsible for implementing, training, and facilitating all Memory Care specific initiatives within our community.
Job Summary:The Director of Connection Points will be the driving force behind our Connection Points Memory Care Approach, empowering us to meet residents where they are on their journey of dementia. With a focus on building strong relationships with residents, families, and team members, this role requires a unique blend of leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and facilitate all Memory Care initiatives, ensuring a high level of quality and effectiveness.
- Train and educate team members on Memory Care best practices and protocols.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and team members, fostering a culture of compassion and understanding.
- Collaborate with community leadership to ensure positive and meaningful experiences for Memory Care residents.
- Attend weekly calls with Aging and Dementia Services to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree in Gerontology, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a Memory Care setting.
- Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse groups.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and complete assigned projects timely and accurately.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
