Job Summary:

As a skilled Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. Your expertise will be invaluable in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a variety of pulmonary conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history and physicals, to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as CXR and laboratory studies, to guide patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working closely with patients and their families to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize resource utilization.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to manage their conditions effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in pulmonary care, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Masters of Science degree in Nursing (MSN).
  • Demonstrated competence in nursing specialty with a minimum of 3 years experience as an RN in practicing specialty.
  • Licensed as an Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Tennessee.
  • Licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) in the state of Tennessee.
  • National certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-BC) or an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC).
