Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner - Paragon Infusion Centers

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Paragon Infusion Centers. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Job Summary:

The Family Nurse Practitioner - Paragon Infusion Centers is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. This role involves administering ordered therapies, completing admission processes, performing physical assessments, and documenting patient data. You will also communicate effectively with the IV team, maintain patient confidentiality, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer ordered therapies according to prescriber orders, facility protocols, and company policies.
  • Complete admission processes as directed by the Center Director.
  • Perform physical assessments on patients as warranted and for new consults.
  • Document all pertinent data in the patient's medical record.
  • Communicate effectively with the IV team on patient status and observations.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA laws and regulations.
  • Evaluate patient responses to therapy and document findings.
  • Educate patients and/or family members regarding therapy plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date medication orders prior to treatment.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing and a minimum of 2 years of related experience with clinical emphasis for nurse practitioners.
  • Current, active, valid, and unrestricted NP license to practice as a healthcare professional within the scope of license in applicable states.
  • Active, current, and valid Family Nurse Practitioner Certification.
  • Multi-state licensure required if providing services in multiple states.
  • Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver.
Preferred Skills and Experiences:
  • Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience with IVs.
  • Extensive travel to worksites and other locations as necessary.
