Cecil College seeks an experienced Instructor - Health Care Careers to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our students by providing high-quality education and training in the field of Paramedicine.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver classroom and lab instruction to students in the Health Care Careers Program.
- Design and implement teaching strategies to meet course objectives.
- Utilize adult learning theory to facilitate student learning.
- Evaluate student performance based on established program competencies.
- Submit grades, attendance, and evaluations in a timely manner.
- Participate in accreditation activities for the program.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an Associate of Applied Science in Emergency Medical Services or related field.
- Prior teaching experience in the related field.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Current knowledge and skill in the use of information and computer technology.
- Able to work with students with special needs based on the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Licensure:
Current/Valid licensure as a Paramedic by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and the State of Maryland.
