At Middlesex Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Primary Care team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant will assist Providers with patient care, maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, and perform various administrative tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and answering phone calls
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and medications
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Medical Assisting Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience working with electronic health records
  • 1 year office-based physician practice experience
