Job Overview

MARC Community Resources Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting their health, well-being, and social and emotional growth.
  • Follow agency policies and participate in related goals and plans to ensure the best possible care for individuals.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to provide comprehensive support and care.
  • Support the MARC mission, vision, and guiding principles.

Requirements:

  • Valid CT Driver's License and reliable vehicle with current CT registration and insurance.
  • PSL endorsement (or ability to obtain one).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR, First Aid, PMT, and Med Certification are preferred.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 years' experience with adults with developmental disabilities preferred but will train the right candidate.
