We are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team at Miller Cooper. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for reconciling bank statements, preparing and posting journal entries, and analyzing general ledger discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:- Reconcile bank statements and identify any discrepancies
- Prepare and post journal entries, including setting up recurring entries
- Analyze general ledger and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with the Controller for month-end and year-end closing
- Participate in external audits and assist with accounts receivable and payable as needed
- 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing/distribution
- Associate degree preferred, or experience in lieu of education considered
- Intermediate or advanced Excel skills
- NetSuite experience a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
