USA Health is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic II PRN to join our team at the Children's and Women's Hospital. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital's mechanical systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair electrical motors, generators, and related equipment
- Install, maintain, and repair lighting, circuitry components, alarm systems, plumbing systems, and HVAC systems
- Perform chemical treatment tests for boilers and cooling water
- Operate power tools and equipment, including lathes, drill presses, and welding rigs
- Utilize proper body mechanics to move equipment and supplies, weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families, and other hospital staff
- Maintain accurate and complete records of maintenance activities
- Perform minor electrical installations and repairs
- Perform HVAC repairs
- Key locks for hospital
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of experience in maintenance and repair of buildings, plumbing, or mechanical equipment
- Valid driver's license and a driving record sufficient to maintain insurance coverage
