Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Food Service: Take food orders, present to kitchen staff, and deliver meals to residents and guests in a timely and proper manner.
  • Dining Room Maintenance: Ensure the dining room is clean and set up to company standards for all meals and functions.
  • Customer Service: Greet residents and guests with a smile, ensure each resident has a place to sit, and respond quickly to resident and guest requests.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in cleaning and setting up the serving area, restock inventory, and dispose of waste materials.
  • Food Safety: Adhere to all food handling, food service, safety, and sanitation standards.
Requirements
  • Food Handler Certification: Must be or become within 60 days an accredited food handler per State guidelines.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.
  • Education: High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
  • Language Skills: Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Background Check: Must be willing to undergo a routine background check including drug screen.
