Job Summary

Rittal LLC is seeking a skilled Mig Welder to join our production team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for performing Mig welding to support our production schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Mig welding to support the production schedule.
  • Responsible for welding base frames.
  • Meet/exceed all targets for quality and productivity.
  • Cohesively work with peers.
  • Participate in weekly Rittal Production System meetings.
  • Continuously improve your own skills and competencies.
  • Drive 6S activities.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of welding experience or completion of certified program related to welding training.
  • Able to read blueprints is strongly preferred.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Stand at the weld station throughout the work shift.
  • Walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the work shift.
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds to waist level; frequently lift 25–40 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds above the shoulders.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to assignment changes easily, ability to multi-task.
  • Wear safety-toed footwear, safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, and additional personal protective equipment where required including welding hood, protective clothing, etc.
