Rittal LLC is seeking a skilled Mig Welder to join our production team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for performing Mig welding to support our production schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Mig welding to support the production schedule.
- Responsible for welding base frames.
- Meet/exceed all targets for quality and productivity.
- Cohesively work with peers.
- Participate in weekly Rittal Production System meetings.
- Continuously improve your own skills and competencies.
- Drive 6S activities.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of welding experience or completion of certified program related to welding training.
- Able to read blueprints is strongly preferred.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Stand at the weld station throughout the work shift.
- Walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the work shift.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds to waist level; frequently lift 25–40 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds above the shoulders.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to assignment changes easily, ability to multi-task.
- Wear safety-toed footwear, safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, and additional personal protective equipment where required including welding hood, protective clothing, etc.
