The Assistant Director of Health Services is a key member of the nursing leadership team at Aspen Place Health Campus. This role is responsible for assisting the Director of Health Services in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Service Department.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinates with the Director of Health Services to select, retain, develop, and lead the clinical team.
- Assists in coordinating nursing and ancillary services with other department leaders to ensure continuity of care.
- Implements the clinical staffing model and participates in the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
- Prepares for facility surveys and accreditation programs made by regulatory agencies.
- Performs administrative duties, including completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
- Provides direct nursing care as necessary, including on-call duties.
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- 0-1 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Current, valid state RN license
- Current valid CPR certification
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Ability to lift at least 50lbs and maintain verbal and written communication with colleagues, supervisors, residents, family members, and vendors.
