Housekeeping Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Lead to join our team at Equity LifeStyle Properties. As a Housekeeping Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that our resorts are clean and tidy, providing a five-star experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the cleaning activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas of the resort are clean and well-maintained.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure that cleaning standards are met and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that they are adequate and in good working order.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of staff and resources.
• Train and develop housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and front office, to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest service.
• Monitor and report on cleaning performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure that all housekeeping staff are aware of and comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a housekeeping or related role, preferably in a resort or hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and products, as well as experience with cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record required.

Estimated Compensation:

The estimated compensation for this position is $20.00 - $19.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
