Marketing Strategy Manager, Fiber Retention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Strategy Manager, Fiber Retention to join our team at Brightspeed. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a critical role in enhancing customer loyalty and maximizing retention rates. Your expertise will help us understand and respond to the evolving needs of our customer base, driving initiatives that keep our subscribers engaged and satisfied.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer data and market trends to identify opportunities for enhancing customer loyalty and retention
- Develop and implement a comprehensive retention strategy that includes targeted campaigns, personalized communications, and value-added services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, sales, and customer experience, to ensure alignment and support for retention initiatives
- Monitor performance metrics and customer feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of retention programs and make data-driven improvements
- Create compelling business cases for initiatives aimed at reducing churn and increasing customer lifetime value
- Use a test-and-learn approach to refine retention strategies and quickly implement effective solutions
- Partner with marketing to design and execute campaigns that promote customer engagement and satisfaction
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies that can impact customer retention
- Develop training materials and resources to empower frontline staff to support retention efforts effectively
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics or related field
- 7+ years of marketing and/or product strategy work
- Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute business strategies
- 3+ years of experience in telecommunications
- Self-motivation and self-discipline: complete work in a timely manner with minimal oversight
- Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills: need to be able to absorb a great deal of information about the business, analyze the data, and make clear and useful recommendations
- Listening, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills: need to interact with Brightspeed employees at various levels of the organization and must be able to do so with diplomacy and effective communication skills
- Communication skills: need to be able to communicate concisely and persuasively across PowerPoint, email, and Teams calls, with executives, peers, and frontline staff
- Firm understanding of business financials and industry economics. Always approach business problems by thinking holistically and what will be best for the business
- Forecasting: ability to put together a forecast with the key drivers and the resulting business outcomes (financial and driver)
Bonus Points:
- Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics or related field
- Experience in problem-solving, research, and quantitative analysis
- A deep need to understand why, a willingness to update beliefs when presented with new data, and a willingness to embrace what we don't know
- Experience with Agile Marketing and/or Asana
