Opportunity Overview

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our hepatology team at Medical City Dallas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and contribute to providing high-quality patient care.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and managing patients with liver disease, as well as participating in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans. A strong emphasis will be placed on effective communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Evaluate and manage patients with liver disease, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with liver disease.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other APNs/PAs, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including laboratory results, medications, and treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in liver disease management and treatment options through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Active Texas license as an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA).
  • Acute Care NP certification only or PA.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
