Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform to design, implement, and manage robust data architectures that support our organization's data strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop comprehensive data architectures that align with business needs and strategic goals.
* Design and implement data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support analytics and reporting.
* Utilize Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) to create scalable data solutions.
Data Integration:
* Design and manage data integration processes to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
* Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to ingest and process data from various sources, including on-premises and cloud-based systems.
Data Governance:
* Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
* Monitor and maintain data integrity and accuracy across all data assets.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
* Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
* Collaborate with IT teams, data scientists, and analysts to ensure cohesive data strategy implementation.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers and developers.
Power Platform Expertise:
* Develop and manage Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights.
* Utilize Power Automate to streamline and automate data workflows and business processes.
* Create custom applications using Power Apps to solve specific business challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role, with a strong understanding of data architecture principles.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
* Strong knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts.
* Experience with ETL tools and processes, including knowledge of SQL and other data manipulation languages.
Data Management:
* Expertise in data integration techniques and best practices.
* Familiarity with data governance frameworks and experience implementing data governance policies.
* Ability to manage and optimize large datasets for performance and scalability.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities to address data-related challenges and issues.
Communication and Collaboration:
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
* Familiarity with machine learning and advanced analytics techniques.
* Certification in Microsoft Power Platform or related technologies.
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.

* Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into usable formats, and load it into data warehouses or databases.
* Proficiency in integrating data from multiple sources, including on-premises and cloud-based systems, to ensure seamless data flow across the organization.
* Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices to establish and enforce policies for data quality, security, and compliance.
* Strong command of SQL (Structured Query Language) and other data manipulation languages to query, manipulate, and analyze large datasets efficiently.
* Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex data sets, identify patterns, trends, and insights, and derive actionable recommendations.
* Effective communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely.
* Strong problem-solving abilities to address data-related challenges and issues, troubleshoot technical issues, and develop innovative solutions to meet business needs.
