Key Responsibilities:
As a Phlebotomy Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

1) Performing venipuncture and skin puncture techniques on patients of all ages to collect blood specimens for laboratory analysis.
2) Conducting data entry, filing, and managing communication with patients and staff in a courteous manner.
3) Demonstrating proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and ensuring the proper use of equipment.
4) Processing various types of specimens for laboratory testing, including microbiology, hematology, and chemistry.
5) Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas and laboratory supplies.
6) Assisting with logistical tasks such as sample collection and inventory management as needed.
7) Adhering to established policies and procedures for specimen handling and processing.


This is a full-time position with day shifts, offering a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday. Previous phlebotomy experience and a background in a clinical or medical office setting are essential. Certification as a Phlebotomist is preferred.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS certification within 45 days of hire, with ongoing maintenance required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
