Unity Health is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Cardiac Sonography Professional, you will be responsible for performing cardiac ultrasounds in various areas of the hospital, including special care units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care, considering age-specific needs from neonatal to geriatrics.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, associates, patients, and visitors.
- Develop and maintain expertise in cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures.
- Assume supervisory responsibilities when adequately prepared.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent training in cardiac sonography.
- Registered or registry eligible per ARDMS or CCI requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
