Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care and Team Management
    • Prioritize and delegate tasks to technicians based on project requirements, deadlines, and individual skill sets
    • Ensure that work assignments are distributed efficiently and monitor the progress of ongoing tasks
    • Monitor the performance and progress of technicians, offering real-time feedback and support when needed
  • Leadership and Collaboration
    • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, encouraging teamwork and problem-solving
    • Support your team by assisting 4-10 technicians on the floor as needed with veterinary technical skills
  • Operational Excellence
    • Streamline operations by collaborating with senior veterinary technician and lead client service representative
    • Identify training needs within the team and contribute to scheduling efforts
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Licensed Veterinary Technician strongly preferred
    • 2-4 years of veterinary technician experience, including blood draws, surgical experience, and emergency care
  • Leadership and Skills
    • Supervisory and leadership experience with a high level of emotional intelligence
    • Excellent time management and flexibility
    • Inventory experience preferred
