Job Summary

The Supply Room Attendant/Housekeeping Assistant provides supply room coverage and light housekeeping duties, including cleaning injector needles and tools. This role is responsible for ensuring adequate stock levels, tracking inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hands out supplies and ensures adequate stock levels to meet facility needs.
  • Tracks inventory and supply distribution.
  • Cleans injector needles and tools.
  • Cleans laundry daily.
  • Picks up and cleans tables/counters in lunch rooms, locker rooms, and meeting rooms daily.
  • Cleans sinks and toilets in restrooms.
  • Mops floors in miscellaneous office areas.
  • Shovels snow and salts walkways during winter months.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, including break coverage, checking supplies, and collecting knives.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions.
  • Ability to apply common sense.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to stand and use hands for 8-11 hours per day.
  • Ability to multitask and work quickly.
  • Good communication skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Intermediate analytical skills preferred.
  • Desire for continuous improvement preferred.

Work Environment
