Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical-Mechanical-Cable Harness Assembler to join our team at Coda Octopus Colmek. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of electronic assembly operations, including PCB assembly, electro-mechanical assembly, and cable assembly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform PCB assembly duties, including prepping CCA's, soldering hand-placed SMT and thru-hole parts using a microscope, and touch-up of CCA's.
  • Conduct electro-mechanical assembly duties, including prepping and integrating chassis, crimping, stripping, cable routing, staking, splicing, marking, labeling, and soldering.
  • Route and tie wires to form wire harnesses used in electrical and electronic equipment or systems.
  • Read instructions, such as work orders, diagrams, and wire lists, to determine materials needed and sequence of assembly.
  • Complete company paperwork and follow company procedures, including work order, rework instructions, prints, drawings, and schematics.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED and at least 5 years of related experience.
  • Ability to perform job duties with little to no assistance.
  • Level of expertise and interpersonal skills sufficient to provide on-the-job training to other assemblers.
  • Experience working to schematics, process details, and engineering drawings.
  • Ability to work on Export-controlled and ITAR assemblies and obtain a US Security Clearance if required.
