Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Electrical Maintenance Technician at Nature's Bakery. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant.

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, installing, testing, and repairing electrical systems, as well as performing preventative maintenance duties on facility equipment. You will work with the latest technology and equipment, and have the opportunity to shape the future of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair electrical systems, including circuits, motors, and control devices
  • Perform preventative maintenance duties on facility equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions of electrical systems and equipment
  • Work with the latest technology and equipment, including variable frequency drives and PLCs
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience working in the food manufacturing industry
  • 4+ years of experience working as an experienced level maintenance mechanic
  • 2+ years of experience working as an Electrical technician
  • PLC experience is a plus
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize items, and be self-motivated
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other team members and management

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, and energized equipment. The noise level in the work environment varies depending on tasks.
