Job Summary and Requirements

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center.

Job Description:
  • Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to refine and achieve plans of care, and continually monitor patients' physical condition, emotional, and social needs.
  • Provide health education to patients and families, and document all interventions and progress.

Qualifications and Skills
  • 1 year of ED RN experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program or current enrollment in an Alternate Entry Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program or higher level education.
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License; if Compact License, Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • BLS certification per St. David's Healthcare policy; ACLS or ALS certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • PALS or ENPC certification is preferred, as well as TNCC certification.

Estimated Salary Range: $93,500 - $124,000 Per Year

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including comprehensive medical coverage, dental and vision benefits, life and disability insurance, and 401(k) plan with a 100% match on 3% to 9% of pay based on years of service.
