We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Education Specialist to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Leadership: Lead a mixed-age Montessori elementary classroom (ages 6-8 years old) as a full-time classroom teacher, providing individualized instruction and support to students.
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with our program experts to create lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of our students, ensuring a rigorous and engaging learning experience.
  • Classroom Culture: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes effortful choices and truth-seeking inquiry, encouraging students to take ownership of their learning.
  • Parent Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with parents to ensure they are informed about their child's academic, social, and emotional progress.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of educators, including co-teachers, head of school, and program support coaches, to continuously evaluate and improve the classroom experience.
