About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Teacher to join our team at Hebrew Public. As a Middle School Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students and contributing to the school's mission to lead a national movement of exceptional, diverse public charter schools that teach Modern Hebrew to children of all backgrounds and prepare them to be successful global citizens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students, promoting a love for learning and academic excellence.
  • Provide high-quality instruction in Math, ELA, Social Studies, and Science, ensuring that all students have access to a rigorous and well-rounded education.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages collaboration and mutual respect.
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in education, applying innovative strategies to enhance student learning and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote academic excellence, diversity, and global citizenship.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; Master's degree preferred.
  • Elementary and/or Middle School teaching experience preferred.
  • NYS certification in content area or working towards certification is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Legally authorized to work in the USA.
What We Offer

We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including a starting base salary of $62,000, with opportunities for higher earnings based on experience and qualifications.
