Job Title: Night Auditor

At Terrace Hotel Lakeland, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. As a Night Auditor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process guest check-ins, confirm reservations, and assign rooms
  • Reconcile hotel cashier transactions, review management reports, and ensure accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions
  • Set wake-up calls, answer incoming phones, and create, confirm, and modify reservations
  • Review account and charges with guests during checkout, answer inquiries about hotel amenities and facilities, and serve as a local area expert
  • Log and resolve guest comments and complaints, complete shift checklists, and maintain the shift pass on log
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve service requests or problems, ensure guest and associate safety, and follow established security procedures
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer and keyboard skills
  • Ability to multi-task, frequently switching between or simultaneously performing functions of the front desk
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, occasional carrying and lifting of items up to 15 pounds
  • Availability to work an overnight schedule, flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
