Job Summary

The Night Auditor is responsible for the preparation and disposition of all Night Audit work. This role involves managing the front desk operation during the overnight shift, typically from 11pm to 7am. Key responsibilities include registering guests, making reservations, preparing daily reports, balancing transactions, and conducting security walks.

Responsibilities
  • Register guests and manage front desk operations during the overnight shift.
  • Prepare and process daily reports, including revenue and transaction summaries.
  • Balance transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Conduct security walks to ensure the safety and security of guests and hotel property.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to guest inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure seamless operations and efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to hotel standards and policies.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is helpful.
  • Previous supervisory responsibility is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
