Assistant Store Manager

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in cultivating and motivating the sales and support teams to enhance customer engagement. You will also generate enthusiasm around product offerings, launches, and initiatives while maintaining our esteemed standards for communication and confidentiality. In the absence of the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager assumes responsibility for all operational aspects of the store.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Driving store sales objectives and inspiring team members to meet sales targets Executing company training initiatives; overseeing staff training in product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques Assisting in the supervision of staff Upholding company merchandising standards Timely and accurately completing all necessary paperwork procedures (New Hire, Incident Reports, etc.) Managing store funds and overseeing deposits in line with company policies Aiding in inventory management and maintaining accurate inventory records Adhering to procedures for receiving stock, shipments, transferring merchandise, and handling defective items Collaborating with District, Regional, and corporate personnel (including accounting, merchandising, operations, and human resources)

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Retail Knowledgeable: you comprehend the intricacies involved in operating a luxury retail environment and its clientele Decisive: you are confident in making hiring decisions, termination recommendations, and scheduling choices Leadership Qualities: you exemplify professionalism by addressing and resolving conflicts promptly Effective Communicator: you establish strong relationships with customers and colleagues, including the Store Manager, SVP of Retail Stores, Regional Director, District Manager, and Talent Operations Dynamic, Focused, Transparent, and Agile

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years old 3 years of retail experience 2 years of high-performance sales experience in retail High School Diploma Knowledge of the Fashion Industry Strong communication and analytical skills Proficient in digital tools; POS, MS Office, web, social media Capability to operate all necessary equipment for the role, including but not limited to standing, stooping, lifting 11 kilograms, and climbing a ladder

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree 3 years of management experience in high fashion/luxury apparel Proven experience and skills in supervising, coaching, and training sales associates
