About This Opportunity

Lifepoint Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Tacoma, Washington.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.

Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey.

You will work with patients who need continued care to recover completely from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

As a valued member of our team, you will contribute to elevating Lifepoint's healthcare delivery network and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Perform patient assessments to identify areas of improvement.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote maximum benefits of care.
  • Participate in performance improvement and program development activities to enhance the quality of care.
  • Other duties as assigned.

To succeed in this role, you will require a bachelor's and master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders, or similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

You must possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow (CFY).

A current Basic Life Support/CPR card is also required.

The estimated salary for this position is $50 per hour, and you will have access to a range of benefits, including affordable medical, dental, and vision plans, up to 20 days of PTO, six paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, continuing education opportunities, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
