The Framing Installation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation of wood component systems, doors, windows, siding, shingles, insulation, drywall, and trim on 84 Lumber Company projects. This position requires strong leadership and coordination skills to manage independent subcontract framing crews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the installation of wood component systems, doors, windows, siding, shingles, insulation, drywall, and trim to ensure compliance with blueprints and specifications.
- Recruit and manage independent subcontractors holding the necessary licenses and insurance.
- Develop and manage labor cost budgets for framing installation projects.
- Conduct daily jobsite inspections to ensure quality and schedule compliance.
- Conduct daily safety inspections to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure company compliance with contract documents and specifications.
- Prepare daily reports, job diaries, and other documentation as required.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Word Processing, Excel, and Outlook software.
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
- Ability to read and comprehend documents, write routine reports, and speak/present in front of a small group.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
