Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Real Estate Broker to join our team at Clarendon. As a key member of our commercial real estate services and advisory firm, you will be responsible for originating and directing the marketing of exclusive residential property listings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and negotiate business opportunities for residential real estate properties.
  • Work collaboratively with staff, research analysts, senior brokers, and partners to grow market expertise and procure new business.
  • Build and maintain relationships with property owners and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Secure new and expanded business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
  • Gather, prepare, and distribute marketing materials.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of real estate fundamentals, value drivers, trends, and comparable transactions.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and due diligence.
  • Prepare offers, term sheets, and amendments; assist attorneys in preparing real estate contracts.
  • Maintain current knowledge of market conditions, property values, economic trends, and legislation affecting the real estate industry.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years' experience as a licensed Massachusetts real estate salesperson or broker required, with no history of violations or disciplinary actions.
  • Record of sales success.
  • Must be entrepreneurial, self-starter, and able to work independently.
  • Must be able to work simultaneously on multiple projects; disciplined, focused, and team-oriented.
  • Strong negotiation and due diligence skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents.
  • Analytical, financial, and quantitative skills.
  • Strong organizational, communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient and accurate computer skills: Microsoft Office 365 applications; willing to learn new software as needed.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Ability to work remotely.
