Job Summary:

MLee Healthcare is seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our medical imaging team. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and vascular studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams, utilizing advanced imaging techniques and equipment.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the examination.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and review imaging results.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment with precision and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Certification by the ARDMS (AB) (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) is required to be obtained within the first year of hire.
  • 2 years of experience working as an Ultrasound Technician (preferred, not required).
  • Proficiency in various ultrasound techniques and the use of equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
