Project Manager Job Description

J.A. Watts, Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout of assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure timely completion and within budget
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and quality control
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure effective communication and project success
  • Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project success
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • 4-8 years of project management experience, preferably in engineering, construction management, or program management
  • Aviation experience and Baggage Handling System experience preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an airport badge
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
