Job Summary
C&W Services is seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanical Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing repairs and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment, including pumps, conveying systems, piping, heat exchangers, and power transmissions.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment, following established standards and procedures.
- Assist in formulating preventive maintenance standards and work procedures.
- Provide work order feedback on discrepancies noted in service delivery.
- Operate and maintain heavy industrial equipment, including forklifts, scissors lifts, and skid loaders.
- Work from elevated areas, utilizing fall protection equipment as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all company and customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members to achieve short- and long-range planning goals.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- 0-5 years of mechanical experience and/or 1-2 years of education in industrial maintenance technologies preferred.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, and hazardous materials. The noise level is usually very loud.
