Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Respiratory Therapist to join our team at University Health. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients, including assessment, treatment, and education.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies to provide evidence-based care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited college or university.
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) credential.
  • Texas State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
  • Case Manager Certification (CCM, CPHQ, or ANCC) is highly desirable.
  • Current CPR certification (BLS) is required.
  • Current ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred.
