Podiatry Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Podiatry Specialist to join our team at the Department of Veteran Affairs. The ideal candidate will be board qualified or board certified by a Council on Podiatric Medical Education certification board, or other equivalent certification to grant surgical privileges.

The successful candidate will possess experience to perform duties as a podiatrist and surgeon, and have completed an accredited residency, and/or possess experience to perform general and surgical duties and some specialized functions and procedures, without supervision.

As a Podiatry Specialist, you will be responsible for performing office-based procedures and operating room procedures, and will be responsible for surgical patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Added work responsibilities may include seeing hospital patients daily and carrying a pager or being available by phone for emergency consultations.
