Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team at the University of California. As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex EEGs, Video EEG in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, Long Term (EEG) monitoring, Evoked Potentials (EPs), and other specialized procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform EEGs, Video EEG, and EPs procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Ensure electrode and technical integrity and quality of all Neurodiagnostic procedures performed.
  • Participate in departmental and organizational programs, including performance improvement activities, in-services, and staff development activities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited training program in Neurodiagnostics or a combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Possession of good interpersonal skills in dealing with patients, family, caregivers, physicians, and clinical staff.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Word, Excel, and online communication.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including nights, rotating, weekends, and variable shifts.
