We are dedicated to providing an exceptional experience to our residents and team members, and we are seeking a highly skilled Community Manager to join our team.
The Community Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our communities, including managing and coordinating people, activities, and resources to provide a seamless experience for residents, future residents, visitors, and team members.
This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership
- Hire, train, and supervise team members through a positive mentoring approach
- Conduct ongoing training and monitor progress
- Take ownership and lead by example
- Empower team members by setting high goals and holding yourself accountable for their success
- Conduct annual performance reviews
- Assist in the hiring process by vetting candidates
- Provide comprehensive feedback and facilitate disciplinary procedures as necessary
- Financials
- Prepare and execute community budgets
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports
- Ensure timely rent collection and bank deposits
- Maximize NOI and continuously look for ways to increase community value
- Maintain open communication with vendors and contractors
- Submit invoices for payment promptly
- Suggest rental rate recommendations
- Have a strong working knowledge of the market and comp set
- Leasing
- Oversee the screening process and vetting of applicants
- Provide outstanding customer service to residents and future residents
- Take pride in the apartment community and maintain a clean and organized environment
- Customer Service
- Answer incoming phone calls and handle accordingly
- Build relationships with residents through courteous and timely response to needs and concerns
- Think safety first and ensure unsafe conditions are corrected promptly
- Visually inspect and prepare the property daily for cleanliness
- Know your market and be abreast of competition and surrounding area
- Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and team members
