About the Role

The Production Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of our plant. This includes monitoring routine operations, implementing plant capital projects, and assuming the role of site Quality Management Representative. As a key member of our operations team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with established operating procedures and internal/external rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in implementing production/processing methods and controls to meet quality & production standards in a safe and cost-efficient manner
- Implement standards for measuring and reporting operational reliability as a reflection of operational function effectiveness
- Prepare process engineering designs, calculations, and reports for various projects around the company
- Lead various special project teams and audits to ensure compliance with internal and external rules and regulations

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience in process engineering and design within a chemical processing environment
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering degree from an accredited university
- Proficiency in Process design, analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Strong knowledge of OSHA PSM to guide and initiate/monitor/audit site safety in a chemical process environment
- Demonstrated commitment to employee health and safety
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel 5% of the time mostly in the United States, but could include Canada

Salary and Benefits

This salaried-exempt position offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
