We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Interventional Recovery Services. This position requires the ability to identify both physical and emotional changes in patients' conditions, assist with various procedures, and maintain the operational flow of the unit. As a Circulator, you will also support other modalities as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of nursing practices and departmental protocols.
  • Ensure accurate and timely charting and documentation.
  • Adhere to safety and radiation safety standards for self and others.
  • Utilize equipment competently and safely.
  • Maintain the operational flow of the Interventional Recovery Services.
  • Provide assistance to other modalities regarding nursing care issues.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients across all age groups.
  • Effectively use the Radiographic Information System.
  • Communicate efficiently within the department using various methods.
  • Keep the work area clean and well-stocked.
  • Meet and exceed the expectations of patients and other stakeholders.
  • Support departmental initiatives to ensure operational and salary expenses align with the approved budget.
  • Understand and apply principles of Performance Improvement.
  • Seek opportunities for process enhancements and personal skill development.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience, including at least one year in critical care, ER, or PACU.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized organization.
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from a recognized organization.
  • Intermediate proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
