AmeriPro EMS is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. As an EMT with AmeriPro EMS, you will be responsible for providing patient care in emergency and non-emergency situations, ensuring compliance with state EMS rules and regulations, and maintaining ambulance equipment and vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency calls and provide patient care according to company protocols and medical director guidelines.
- Ensure ambulance and equipment are clean and in proper working condition.
- Prepare and complete reports, including patient care reports, billing, and incident reports.
- Adhere to AmeriPro EMS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Maintain a state of readiness and professionalism while on-duty.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- State-specific EMT certification or licensure.
- CPR: BLS certification.
- Valid state-specific driver's license.
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience as an EMT or in a similar medical role.
- Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and/or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training.
AmeriPro EMS is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires employees to be adaptable and able to work in a variety of situations. Employees may be exposed to inclement weather, hazardous conditions, and psychological stressors.
