About the Role

As a Metro Market Technical Project Leader, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing control systems projects with assigned customers. You will work under general direction to act as the on-site project leader, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete installation hardware design and software programming using established standards as required.
  • Evaluate the contractual scope of work and communicate technical and business-related issues with clients.
  • Manage and complete the loading, device verification, and commissioning of all system controllers as required.
  • Provide jobsite coordination for panel and field device physical locations, ensuring installation is in accordance with Johnson Controls literature and project requirements.
  • Effectively communicate the status of projects to management and provide monthly forecasts of revenue, costs, and gross margin.
  • Develop project plans and coordinate the required resources to ensure timely and cost-effective installation and completion of assigned projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a technical associate's degree with four years of field experience or six years of equivalent related field experience in the HVAC/Building Automation industry.
  • Relevant technical hands-on experience in systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC/Building Automation controls systems.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to perform work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent and six years field experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Experience in preparing reports for upper management regarding the status of projects.
