The Medication Aide Trainer position is essential to our nursing program, supporting student success in classroom, clinical, and laboratory environments under the guidance of the Director of Corporate Training. Together, we aim to promote innovation, diversity, and academic excellence to positively influence our students and communities.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role encompass delivering instruction, providing student support, and overseeing clinical activities in line with curriculum standards. You will ensure that students achieve all required skill and performance benchmarks as outlined in the curriculum. Additionally, you will assist the Director in managing student documentation, reporting, scheduling, and participating in simulation activities integral to the lab experience. Attendance at assigned safety training sessions is also mandatory. Furthermore, you will provide personalized instruction and constructive feedback to enhance students' program and clinical competencies.

Qualifications

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with a current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License and a minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience.
