About the Role

Satisfied Mind LLC is seeking a skilled and dedicated American Sign Language (ASL) Instructor to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching ASL to a small group of adults and one child in an office setting in Downtown Little Rock.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a curriculum for teaching ASL to adults and children
  • Teach ASL classes, tailored to meet the needs of students aged 11 and above
  • Communicate effectively with students and ensure their understanding of ASL concepts
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • Possession of ASL instruction experience or equivalent qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions

The ideal candidate should be able to commit to teaching at least 1-3 hours per day, Monday through Friday. We are flexible regarding the actual teaching schedule, provided it remains consistent from week to week.

Candidates are expected to possess their own transportation to travel to the designated office location in Downtown Little Rock.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range between $40,000-$60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. This figure may vary based on qualifications and performance.
