Job Description

This position requires a skilled and compassionate individual to recruit, license, and supervise foster families. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with licensing regulations.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Recruit and license foster families through thorough screening, logging, and referral processes.
  • Facilitate orientation and interviews with prospective foster families.
  • Process foster family applications efficiently, including references, SLED checks, and other requirements.
  • Conduct home studies for foster home applicants and maintain accurate records.
  • Visit foster homes quarterly or as per licensing regulations.
  • Communicate with natural parents and DSS workers to ensure effective support and services.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Social Work or related field, or a Bachelor's degree with two years of child welfare experience.
  • South Carolina Certified Adoption Specialist certification required.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Additional Information
