Job Summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance services to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Safety Inspections: Conduct thorough safety checks on vehicles to identify and address any potential issues.
  • Service Calls: Respond to service calls and perform repairs as needed.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Review and complete repairs identified on Vehicle Condition Reports.
  • Collaboration: Assist Lead Mechanics as needed and maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA and organizational standards.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for applied time.
Requirements
  • Education: Equivalent of (1) high school diploma or G.E.D. certification.
  • License: Valid driver's license.
Physical Demands
  • Physical Abilities: Handle tools and equipment, fine motor skills, reach with hands and arms, climb and walk on heights, and occasionally lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
