Job Summary

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Dentist to join our team at Nemours Children's Hospital, Delaware. As a board-certified or eligible Pediatric Dentist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to our young patients and mentoring our residents to ensure clinical competency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the hospital's pediatric dentistry practice, including outpatient and inpatient care, general anesthesia care, moderate/mild sedation care, and emergency department care.
  • Carry an appropriate clinical caseload and help identify and obtain resources and workflows to optimize clinical services.
  • Maintain board certification through the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
  • Provide clinical and didactic instruction to medical and dental residents.
  • Support the Nemours missions of research and scholarly activity.
  • Participate with residents in research projects and provide mentorship to residents in research activities.
  • Maintain programmatic documentation in compliance with standards set by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
Requirements
  • Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
  • Eligibility to obtain an academic or full dental license in the State of Delaware.
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with residents and other healthcare professionals.
