**Job Summary**

BNSF Railway is seeking a Conductor Trainee to join our team. As a Conductor Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting in the safe and efficient movement of freight trains.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist in the operation of freight trains, including coupling and uncoupling cars, and monitoring train movements.
  • Conduct safety inspections of trains and equipment to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Communicate with dispatchers and other crew members to coordinate train movements and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge necessary for the role.

**Requirements:**

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to work safely in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
