As a Certified Nursing Support Specialist, your duties will include:

  • Delivering personal care to patients, which encompasses routine tasks such as bed-making, bathing, and assisting with mobility.
  • Facilitating the development of essential life skills, including grooming and personal hygiene.
  • Supporting patients in their daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Conducting rehabilitative therapy and assisting with activities of daily living.
  • Monitoring and recording vital signs accurately.
  • Assisting patients in transitioning to various areas for dining, exercise, and recreational activities.
  • Performing regular rounds to check on patients and maintain cleanliness and comfort in their living spaces.
  • Communicating effectively with nursing staff regarding patient needs and any required interventions.
  • Applying basic medical devices and ensuring patient safety.
  • Documenting food and fluid intake to monitor dietary needs.
  • Teaching behavioral skills to promote patient safety and well-being.
  • Adhering to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification and successfully complete all pre-employment requirements.


Special Qualifications:

All employees will be required to comply with the organization's vaccination policy upon hiring.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • A general understanding of common physical illnesses and their symptoms.
  • Basic knowledge of human anatomy related to care and treatment.

  • Effective communication skills for interaction with residents and team members.
  • The ability to lift and move patients safely, with assistance when necessary.
  • Regular standing and walking to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Exposure to various environmental conditions typical of a healthcare setting.
